WEBSITE DESIGN ASPLEY
A website that feels like you.
Support that feels personal.
I’m Lauren, a WordPress website designer in Aspley. I help small business owners turn their ideas into a clear, welcoming website, with patient guidance along the way.

DESIGNED AROUND YOUR BUSINESS
You bring the idea.
We find the way forward.
Perhaps you’re starting something new. Perhaps your current website no longer reflects the quality of your work. Either way, you don’t need to have every page written or every technical detail figured out before we talk.
I’ll listen to what matters to you, ask about the people you want to reach, and help you decide what your website actually needs. Then we can build a scope that feels clear and manageable.
WHAT WE CAN CREATE
Beautiful to visit.
Practical to use.
A clear home online
Home, About, Services and Contact pages shaped around your business. Your visitors should understand what you do, who you help and how to take the next step.
A thoughtful experience
Responsive layouts for phones, tablets and computers, considered content structure, and search foundations such as useful headings and page descriptions.
Confidence after launch
Editable WordPress content and training within your agreed scope, so you can understand your website and feel more comfortable making everyday updates.
Online shops, courses, additional pages, email database connections and ongoing support can be discussed as part of your project. I’ll explain the scope and the separate domain, hosting and maintenance costs before you decide.
WEBSITES WITH THEIR OWN PERSONALITY
Real businesses.
Thoughtfully brought to life.
CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
Know what we’re creating.
Understand what comes next.
Content and page planning
We decide which pages your visitors need and what each page should help them do. Your services, location, examples of your work and contact details give the design a useful starting point. We can improve existing copy and agree on any new writing before the build.
Design and functionality
Your colours, typography and imagery come together in an editable WordPress layout. We discuss enquiry forms, booking links, galleries and any shop or course requirements, then include the agreed features in your quote. Extra software and subscriptions are identified separately.
Review and handover
The review covers page content, links, enquiries and layouts across screen sizes. Handover can include guidance on editing your content and understanding routine updates. We agree who will manage hosting, backups, maintenance and future changes so the website has a clear home after launch.
BUILT TO BE UNDERSTOOD
Helpful for your visitors.
Clear for search engines.
A website needs to explain your business as well as look beautiful. We start with the questions your customers actually ask: what you offer, who it is for, where you work and how to enquire. Useful service pages give those answers a clear place to live.
Search foundations can include descriptive page titles, relevant headings, sensible links between pages, image descriptions where needed and checks on whether key pages can be indexed. We agree the SEO work included in your project rather than treating a website launch as the end of your visibility work.
AI search tools also need accurate, accessible information to understand a business. Clear service descriptions, a consistent business identity, genuine project examples and useful answers support that understanding. There is no separate design trick that guarantees an AI recommendation.
For a redesign, keeping useful content and planning any changed URLs matters too. Explore how I approach an existing website, or read questions to ask before choosing a designer.
WORKING DIRECTLY WITH LAUREN
Space for questions.
Care in the details.
My background includes teaching Arts and Digital Technologies, building and selling businesses, developing a cosmetics range and managing a team of more than 20 people. That experience shapes the way I work: creative thinking, practical decisions and clear explanations.
We start with your priorities, agree on the content and visual direction, then refine the website together. Before launch, we work through the details and the handover agreed in your scope. I want you to feel part of the process, with room to ask questions throughout.
A few things you may be wondering
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We can look at what is working, what feels dated and what needs to change. A redesign starts with understanding your current content, structure and goals. Read about website redesigns.
Do I need to live in Aspley?
I’m based in Aspley and work with business owners across Brisbane. Online collaboration is also available for clients elsewhere in Australia.
How much will my website cost?
The quote depends on the pages, content, functionality and support you need. Get in touch for a free personalised quote and a clear explanation of what is included.
Will my website rank on Google?
A clear structure and helpful content provide a sound starting point. Search visibility also depends on competition, site history and ongoing work, so specific rankings cannot be promised.

A SIMPLE PLACE TO BEGIN
Bring what you have.
We can work through the gaps.
Useful things to gather
Your current website address, a short description of your services and the main action you want visitors to take are enough to start the conversation. If you have a logo, photographs, customer feedback or websites you like, those help me understand your direction.
Tell me about a launch date or event you are working towards and who will provide the content. Timing depends on the size of the project, the materials available and feedback, so we agree a realistic schedule after discussing the work.
You can use the website design questionnaire to organise your thoughts, or simply send me a message. You do not need to complete a long brief before getting in touch.
A CONVERSATION IS A GOOD PLACE TO START
Let’s make your next step
feel a little easier.
Tell me about your business, your ideas and anything that feels uncertain. We’ll work out a sensible place to start.
