BUSINESS CONSULTING ASPLEY
A fresh perspective.
Someone in your corner.
Business ownership can ask a lot of you. I’m Lauren, based in Aspley, Brisbane. My small business consulting offers a thoughtful space to talk through your ideas, untangle your priorities and decide what comes next.

PRACTICAL SUPPORT, PERSON TO PERSON
You can bring
the unfinished idea.
You might be preparing to launch, rethinking an offer or feeling pulled in too many directions. Sometimes the most useful starting point is a conversation with someone who understands how much sits behind a small business.
I’ll listen to where you are now, ask questions and help you look at the choices in front of you. The conversation is shaped around your stage, your resources and the business you want to build.
WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE
Clarity for the decisions
that matter to you.
Your next chapter
Talk through a new business idea, a change in direction or a service you want to introduce. We can explore your priorities and which steps deserve your attention first.
Your offer and brand
Look at how you describe your business, who you want to help and whether your brand and website make that clear. A fresh perspective can help you see what needs refining.
Practical choices
Work through business and brand decisions in the context of your time, budget and stage. The aim is to leave with a clearer sense of where to focus.
EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE CONVERSATION
I know there is a person
behind every business.
I’ve built and sold physical and online businesses, developed a cosmetics range and managed a team of more than 20 people. That has involved product development, procurement and the everyday decisions that come with business ownership.
I’ve also taught Arts and Digital Technologies in primary and secondary schools. Teaching has shaped how I explain things, listen and make space for questions. My community and mentoring experience includes supporting business owners over many years and serving as a Brisbane ambassador for a global entrepreneurial women’s community.
I bring that experience to our conversation with care and curiosity. Read my story.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
A conversation.
A clearer way forward.
Start by telling me a little about your business and what you would like help with. We’ll discuss whether consulting is the right fit and agree on the scope before we begin.
Sessions are available online, so you can work with me from Aspley, elsewhere in Brisbane or across Australia. If our conversation points towards a website or brand project, we can discuss that separately and make the next step clear.
WHEN A FRESH PERSPECTIVE HELPS
A real question.
A conversation with purpose.
Starting something new
You have an idea, but it is hard to know what needs to happen first. We can talk through the people you want to help, the service or product you are considering and the decisions standing between the idea and your next step. You can arrive with questions rather than a finished plan.
Bringing your offer into focus
Your business may have grown in several directions. We can look at how you describe your services, whether the differences are clear to customers and which part of your offer needs more attention. That clarity can guide later decisions about your brand and website.
Finding a manageable priority
When everything feels urgent, a longer task list rarely helps. We look at what you want to change, the resources available and the work that could be done next. A useful priority should make sense for your business and the person who has to carry it out.
MAKE THE CONVERSATION USEFUL
Start where you are.
Leave with a direction to consider.
Before we talk
Share the main question you want to work through, a little context about your business and any website or brand materials that relate to it. Let me know what you have tried and any time or budget constraints. A short message is fine; there is no need to prepare a presentation.
During our work
We explore the issue together, consider the options and identify what information is still missing. I draw on my own experience of building businesses, product development, procurement, managing a team and teaching. You know your business best, and your experience stays central to the conversation.
The next step
The aim is a clearer understanding of the decision and where to focus next. If you would like a written action plan, follow-up sessions or hands-on brand or website work, we discuss those deliverables and costs in advance. Consulting does not automatically commit you to a design project.
A few helpful answers
Do I need to have an established business?
No. We can discuss a new idea as well as an existing business. Let me know where you are in the process and what you want to work through.
What should I prepare?
Bring a short overview of your business, your main questions and any relevant website or brand materials. You don’t need a polished presentation or all the answers.
Can you help with my website and brand too?
Yes. Website design and brand creation are separate services that can be scoped alongside consulting if they suit your needs. We’ll agree on the work and costs before moving ahead.
How much does consulting cost?
The scope is tailored after we discuss what you want to achieve. Contact me with a little context and I’ll explain the options for your situation.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SUPPORT
Clarity first.
The right service after that.
Choose consulting when your main need is to talk through a business direction, offer or priority. Choose brand creation when you are ready to develop the identity and materials. Choose website design when the next step is bringing the business online, or website redesign when an existing site needs attention.
If you are unsure which one fits, describe what feels difficult in your enquiry. We can work out a sensible starting point without packaging every service together.
Can I book support without buying a website?
Yes. Consulting can be discussed as its own piece of work. If a brand or website project would be useful later, it is quoted separately and you can decide whether to proceed.
Is consulting available online?
Yes. I’m based in Aspley, Brisbane, and consulting conversations are available online for business owners elsewhere in Australia. Let me know your location and availability when you enquire.
What should I include when asking for a quote?
A short description of your business, the main issue you want help with and the outcome you are hoping for will help me suggest an appropriate scope. If you have a deadline or want ongoing support, include that too.
A CONVERSATION IS A GOOD PLACE TO START
You don’t need every answer
to take the first step.
Tell me what is on your mind. We can work out where a little support would make the most difference.
